Hey Minda we hope this finds you well. We purchased a BMF from the Daisey litter that was born May 2025 (LilRusty2 x FR Daisey).
Here’s a couple photos, she’s 9 months old on the 19th of February. She’s just under 15 inches to the shoulder height, and 19 pounds in weight.
If we read her breed history correctly, her grandfather was Hotrod, is that right? If so, she shares some very striking features from him! She is such a beautiful puppy and we get so many great compliments on her looks and sweet & calm personality.

I would like to express my sincere pleasure and appreciation of your professional and caring attitude regarding the purchase of our beautiful puppy Skye.
From my first contact; to your follow up phone calls regarding the safe shipment and health of our puppy, I found that you are a truly caring individual and a responsible professional breeder. I took my time finding the right individual to purchase the puppy I wanted, it was a good decision.
Just a little background about me that you were unaware of during our transaction ~ I managed the animal shelter in Jackson, Wyoming for 10 years before moving on to the Investigations Section of the Police Department. During my tenure at the shelter, I personally adopted many of those animals, some were perfect pets ~ some, not so perfect due to poor mix breeding and other problems. Certainly there are many animals available from animal shelters, and I still highly recommend adoption from them. However, I wanted certain attributes, intelligence and stability that I knew from experience is very rarely available from a local shelter. The puppy we purchased is certainly fulfilling everything I wanted in my new companion and more.

I was given two pups from Minda by my son Ryan and his wife for Christmas – years ago. Now I can run low with blood sugar and my dog will take his nose and bump my cheek until he wakes me up or gets my attention. I realize these dogs are performing a service to a person with different types of disabilities. So I contacted Minda and I asked her about her bloodline and which dogs were the most sensitive to their surroundings with a calm personality? She got to work and gave us six dogs to place in the community with different types of clients to see what the outcome would be.
It was amazing! I was the first to see a young man with anxiety receive a dog, and before he even started to have an anxiety attack the dog was in that young man’s lap and settling him. He has not had a full on anxiety attack since, and the family reports say there’s a great improvement in his quality-of-life. We place dogs with terminally ill people to help them with multiple types of neurological diseases. These dogs perform way beyond what we had ever expected, so we put plans in action and started working to get as many dogs needed to work with people with disabilities. Again, they perform a service for people in need that’s incredibly different than the typical service dog.
Their versatility is immense and I wish to thank Minda And Hughes Toys Aussies for her willingness to go down this path with me and share in the pleasure of being able to place dogs with needy families.
Wanted to let you know Heidi did well at the show last weekend. First in confirmation, level 1 rally title, starting to learn agility and did great on heading instinct. She’s a sweetheart.

We wanted to forward you some pictures of Mylo. (Sugardaddy x Sydney). He has been such a great addition to our family. He is such a sweet natured little guy. He was out of Sydney and SugarDaddy’s litter that was born 7/5/11.
We get stopped all the time asking what kind of dog he is and how beautiful he is. Of course he drinks up all the attention. My husband has turned Mylo into a diehard Ducks fan so I included one of the game day pictures with his jersey on.
We will be looking to add another puppy to our family within the next year so looking forward to talking with you in 2012.

Our beautiful puppy, Ricky Bobby, we bought from you last May is now 1 year old! He ended up being about 12 3/4 inches and about 10 lbs.
He has gained his Canine Good Citizen license and completed three obedience courses. We have been doing agility for about 6 months now and he is a natural born champion! Our agility coach always tells us he’s a puppy genius; we will hopefully be competing this fall. This little guy has such speed and precision, he is going to be difficult to beat on the course. We have just started another class in Rally-O. Bobby, again, is at the top of his class!
I couldn’t have dreamed of a better match for me, I cannot thank you enough for helping us select this wonderful little guy. Living in NH and not being able to visit the pups was a big concern of mine, but you suggested the perfect boy.
As I’m sure you can tell, we are at the gym about three days a week with Bobby, he excels at everything he does, but after a long tiring day of exercise, he is more than happy to slow down and take a nap at my feet or cuddle up in my arms. A true herding dog, he is like my shadow, he follows me everywhere I go.
