Was our 3rd boy.. I was breeding “golden sporthorses” at the time and he stoodout.. didn’t know what the color was. but knew I liked it..
E-gold is recessive – same color as golden labs, no “genetic” issue , except overrides base color – sunny was a blue merle under the golden coat. EZ to figure out with black nose and blue eyes (no blue eye tris back then) and when bred to tris, he sired merles.. (DUH)
he was “breed standard” except for color, back when getting a quality toy aussie was difficult.
